Honyaku Shuppan-sha has produced mechanicals for printing ever since the company was founded; we've handled imagesetting in-house since the days of mechanical phototypesetting. Even before the term "desktop-publishing" was coined, we were providing a complete DTP service.

Since technical documents have to meet strict specifications and be easy to use and free of errors, Honyaku Shuppan-sha's DTP expertise plays a vital role. What's more, we're experienced in DTP of documents in all major languages. We even have the resources and workflow know-how for simultaneous DTP of the same document in several different languages.

Extensive resources give Honyaku Shuppan-sha the flexibility to produce different types of mechanical - from economical computer-generated formats to the highest-quality phototypeset output - to suit any budget. And since we perform all writing, illustration, and layout tasks in-house, we can produce them quickly and accurately.

In recent years, we've expanded our DTP operation to encompass electronic media in addition to conventional print media. We're equipped to deliver PDF files, and we're building new capabilities for automatic document generation and databasing using SGML/XML technology.
